Dr. Olsson was born in rural California, where he was raised amongst nature on the family’s multi-generational organic farm. The Olson family originated in Dalarna Sweden and have continued a long tradition of agriculture, innovation, invention and entrepreneurship throughout the years. Having a rich background in the family farm and the wildlife in and around it, Olof grew with his passion for the natural world. Being blessed with a loving and supportive family he pursued a degree in biology and then continued on to do a masters in Applied Biotechnology in Sweden at Uppsala University. Olof completed his PhD from the University of Lund from the department of Laboratory medicine and experimental medical science, with a focus on cancer and the extracellular environment. From Sweden he moved to Korea to work on the restoration of extinct and endangered species, several novel methods have been developed as a result. In addition to the academic pursuits, he has founded and worked with multiple companies, traveled extensively and have high levels of competence internationally in science, industry and agriculture.  Most recently founding California Genetics and Genetic Memory Inc. towards the goal of merging science, conservation and agriculture in a platform capable of providing solutions for individual, corporate, state and global concerns.
